Neurosurgeon Appointment:
We met with my neurosurgeon today...he said he "was very pleased" with the results that I have been getting from the MRI's, with what is normally a very hard tumor to treat. He asked if I was on any chemotherapy, steroids, etc...I said no. He just shook his head almost in dis-belief. He had been away for about 6 months, as he is an Army Reservist and had to do his service for our country. As some of you may not know, he was the surgeon that did the neurosurgery on Jessica Lynch when she was hurt a few years ago in Iraq. So I did get blessed with a great surgeon. But I hadnt seen him since April. When he left he said, I hope to see you in the same condition as when Im leaving you. I said me too! And Im even better now. He also said today that the "white matter" that had been in there that was moving across the center of the brain (corpus collosum) is gone, the only white that we are looking at now is the tumor cavity. There is only a slight bit of edema (swelling) around the cavity. That is HUGE great news, and a great answer to prayer. God is sooo good. Prayer works!! Confessing His WORD over your life out of your mouth daily truly works. Its called Faith. So we will do it all again in November. So to any of you out there ready to give up or lose hope for whatever your believing in or for, keep the faith, keep trusting God. Philippians 4:13 says "Dont be anxious about anything, INSTEAD PRAY about everything, tell God your needs, and dont forget to thank Him for the answers." Basically its having faith for what you want, and what you see in your mind, and confessing the Word of God daily. Find those healing scriptures. I say every day, " By Your Stripes, I AM HEALED" "You sent your Word AND healed my disease." That is the Word of God. Your healing has already been done, all you have to do is confess it. Ask God once for it, after that, believe you have rec'd it, even if you dont feel you have been healed or feel like it. The devil is here to steal, kill and destroy your life. Stand on the Word, God loves you!

Hi everyone, I could not be more pleased or thankful to the Lord for the amazing MRI that I had yesterday. I was able to pick up the report today which showed decrease in a couple areas, and stable/no change in other areas. God is soo faithful and good to me in answering my prayers. I am here to tell you, prayer works, and definately changes things. I was so anxious and nervous about getting the contrast put in for my MRI as they stick me so many times in the arms, they blow all my veins, and then they start on the back of my hands, which is just horrible pain. Usually I leave balling and in tears, but I asked God that they get it the first time with the first needle prick in my arm, and the technician did THE FIRST TIME! That has never happened before with my MRI's. The scipture that I kept reminding God of was Philippians 4:13 which says "Dont be anxious about anything, instead pray about everything, tell God your needs and dont forget to thank Him for His answers." So I just kept thanking the Lord for 1 needle prick to get the the contrast in. So again, the Lord is so good and faithful. Praise Him! Thanks all for your prayers and words of encouragement. Love you all! We meet with neurosurgeon next Thursday to discuss the report more in depth, and Im sure he will be very pleased. I owe it all to the Lord.

Summer is hopefully winding down. I am so ready for the fall temps, at least here in Phx. It has been so hot. Heat tends to give me headaches and out here it is so expensive to run the A/C. So I am ready for cooler temps. No news to really share. This past weekend, Aug 1st was mine and Joes 5th anniversary. It was very nice. We actually had my best friend watch the kids for us, so we were able to spend the weekend alone. Was so wonderful! Thanks Lisa!!! I have been feeling ok. I have had some headaches recently. Not sure if it is b/c the heat here is so hot, or what. But just continuing to believe and speak that I am healed, By His Stripes. I continue to believe the report of the Lord. My next MRI is scheduled for September. I have had "stable" MRI's since May now. Praise God for that. I am expecting it to go back on the decrease till eventually it is gone. I also want new brain cells/matter. So please continue to thank the Lord for complete healing for me, and for all headaches to be gone! Thanks to everyone for the nice emails an thoughts and prayers, cards, etc...they are encouraging. BTW, Hi Sus, in Philly, didnt forget about you! Miss you lots, talk to ya soon! Also, we are looking at moving back to Maryland within the next year. Pls pray that our house would sell for what we need it to sell for, and the transition of the business would go smoothly. Love you all much, thanks for your continued support. P.S. I love you too Joey, your the best husband in the world!!
Comments:Dawn B.: I just looked at your site an dlove all the pic's! Your family is beautiful! I am an old friend of Joey's from MD. My family and I have been praying for the LORD to give you a miracle! He can do it! Hold on to His promises.

Hello everyone! I am happy to report that after meeting with my neurosurgeon last Monday, he said that he is very pleased with how the reports have been showing, given how very hard the tumor is to treat. The MRI again showed "stable" from May's MRI. I skipped June. I am so thankful to the Lord for again another stable report. I am hopeful that it will be again be on the decrease again and new brain cells/matter will appear on one of these next MRI's. I again get to skip August and I dont go again until September. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness again to me! He is so wonderful! Thank you for all your prayers and phone calls and thoughts.

Hi everyone, sorry it has been so long...havent had any more MRI's since May, thought we would skip a month and give a months break. Believing it will be a good choice as July's MRI will show better yet. So pls continue your faith believing and speaking prayers....can never give up! We have taken some weekend time with our kids, to the beach etc...to get away for a bit. Anyway, minimal headaches here and there, but God is in control in all things. Praise the Lord for His mercy and grace...and continued faithfulness. Love you all...kids are great! Will get some more pics posted soon! BTW, congrats to our old nanny Cheryl Marcus who gave birth today at 8:02am to Henry Alexander!!! We dont know what we would have done without her last year when I was in the hospital!

Well, I have some ok..good news. I had my May MRI on Monday this week. I got the report back on Tuesday. There were no changes from April's MRI. There was no increase, or decrease. Everything looks stable. So while I was a bit disappointed that there wasnt more decrease like I had been believing and praying for, it was just stable. That is good too. I just dont want to have plateaued off, and it start going the other direction now. So please keep the prayers of faith and believing coming, we do it again in June! But Praise the Lord for a good May MRI report. Thanks for all your prayers and support, it is such a blessing! We meet with neurosurgeon next Monday to discuss the latest results, and his thoughts. Kids are doing very well. Love school and learning and playing. Brandon is doing great with potty training, teachers at school say next week start putting him in underwear, not even pull-ups. So we shall see how that pans out. Brooky is same, both great kids! Joe will post pis soon. Love ya'll!

Hi Everyone, happy Monday!! I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. Ours was good, nothing too much exciting. I am doing good so far. No new news. We did meet with my neurosurgeon last week to discuss the latest MRI. He said that so far everything looks good, but you know as a "Dr." he is looking for the hammer to fall sometime soon. He says we have had a good 3 month run of good news showing decrease, BUT....everything can look good for a while or a little while, then "It will all go to hell in a handbasket". He didnt seem quite so chipper for the good news as Joe and I were. Trying to tell me to not get my hopes up, as it will come back its just a matter of time. BUT I serve a mighty God, my Jehova Raffa, the God that healeth me!! I am continuing to confess his word daily, and say daily, By His Stipes I am healed. I will not believe anything else. No matter what, God is good all the time! I trust Him completely for everything. My good friend I have known all my life, that has known me from a baby, Jackie Edgley, told me the other day that a lady in her home church in Michigan was healed of a brain tumor, and the surgical cavity where the tumor was actually closed up completely. Praise God! That is what I have been praying for also, that God would re-create new brain matter and brain cells where the old was taken out so that it would be deemed a miracle. My neurosurgeon said last week, I will never have a perfect MRI, there will always show edema (swelling) and a empty cavity where he took out my tumor and will always show some sort of dysfunction. But I am claiming complete and total healing, and each time I get an MRI I am looking for that "perfect one". As Jackie says, this brain tumor demon is being defeated! I do have a few other prayer requests if you all could please keep them in your prayers. There is a little boy his name is Santana, he is 3 years old. He drowned in a pool at 22months, clinically dead, came back, and they say he will be a vegetable, will not eat, walk, talk etc...please pray that God will cause his little brain to re-connect and he will again do those things drs say he wont. He is already done so many things that should have been impossible. There is another little guy, Ezra he has T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia, and central nervous system cancer (stage 4). This is a childhood friend of mine, her little boy. Just diagnosed last August. He is 2 years old. Has a hard time on the chemotherapy sessions etc...will have to start cranial radiation soon, and they say possible/probable damage. Pleae keep him in your prayers that God will heal him completely of this horrible cancer. Another lady and her husband, I dont have permission to post names, but they live in Las Vegas, just found out her husband has a brain tumor that has absorbed into the bones in his face. They are of course very nervous and upset. Please pray for the peace of God that passes understanding that God will touch his body, and heal him completely. Lets defeat this horrible disease of brain tumors/infant leukemia cancer that is taking lives. The devil is on a rampage right now, and lets hold our shields of faith high over our families and plead the blood of Christ over one another daily. Also our little boy Brandon has had a fever all weekend, 101, not sure what is wrong with him. Our little girl has been on 3 different antibiotics over the past month and cant seem to get rid of whatever is causing her to be sick. Lastly, my mother Donna has extreme arthritis that is causing her such pain that at times she cant even get out of bed. It burns like her skin is on fire and her hands elbows, wrists are very enflamed with heat and red and hurt very much. Thank you all for your prayers. God Bless you all, and I pray for everyone that reads this message that God will protect you and your families, keep you all in good and perfect health. I bind every evil attack of satan and loose the healing power of God over you all in the name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen! Check out the Just For Fun pics that Joe added!
